Newdale District News Social Weekend Visits and Local Health
Cathy Clavett and son Brett visited her parents Stan and Mary Osborne in Brandon over the February weekend. Bill and Doris Everitt went to Neepawa for a birthday supper honoring Harold Fetterley. Three Newdale residents — Elwin Rose Millie Young and Harold Cook — are in hospital. Get well wishes are sent from the community. Lionel Bouchard and family visited Grandma Mrs. M Esplin. Leonard Bradley Edith Abel Edmund and George Betteridge visited on Sunday. Terry and Mrs Wareham returned from a U S A holiday. Weather brought rain mild temperatures and widespread standing water. March weather expectations remain uncertain.

Health Centre Auxiliary meets in Hamiota districts
Hamiota District Health Centre Auxiliary met February 28 1992 with ten districts present. President Anne Tutkaluke opened the meeting and a moment of silence honored Mrs. Eileen Grant. Dr. David Kristianson joins medical staff effective July 1992 and planning details for the Health Centre Annual Meeting on March 23 at 7:00 pm were announced. Volunteers for the Red Cross Blood Donor Clinic on March 18 were requested with two dozen cookies from each district. Regional Auxiliary gathers April 1 at 11:30 am at St Pauls United Church Virden. Next meeting March 27 at 2:00 pm in the hospital conference room.
