Miniota-Arrow River Donor’s Choice Meeting Plans March canvass
The Miniota-Arrow River Donor’s Choice Committee met to reorganize for the 2031 canvass in two communities. Eight charities will be supported this year eight total with new additions Arthritis Society Diabetes Society and The Multiple Sclerosis Society alongside Cancer Kidney Blind Red Cross Child and Family Service.

The Local Store sponsored a Cribbage Tournament for Heart Fund with 25 players paying $5 each. winner to receive a free lunch. Mandy Young remains in Hamiota Hospital. Ray O’Connor and Tillie Draper visited the new shop. Ray is recovering from a stroke.

Hamiota Collegiate students outlined council duties at a Birdtail River School Division Board meeting on Feb 9. The senior girls’ basketball team hosted an invitational, placing strong despite losses. junior high band toured Winnipeg venues on Feb 22, including the Museum of Man and Nature.
