The Birdtail River School Division No 38 held regular session on February 28 1985 at 1 30 pm at Crandall division office. Trustees present included Murray Cottingham Huberdeau Hogg Harvey Bridge Chappell Tolton Cole McKay with apologies from Bear and Admin. Delegation from Newdale G Pedersen attended re Provincial Road 250. Correspondence covered pension plans energy management proposals Education Manitoba Vocational Replacement grant 1985 12600 and workplace safety ministers support. Negotiation updates wage positions for 1985 and 1986 and contracts involving St Boniface Lynn Lake and Steel Workers. Hamiota Happenings Lions Convention Guests Return Home
The notice lists attendees at the 25th Midwinter Lions Clubs Convention in Brandon from February 22 to 24 including Mr. and Mrs. Don Mennie and other local couples. Nelson Kreager returned February 25 from a four week farm tour of Australia New Zealand with days in Honolulu and the Fiji Islands. He and Winifred then visited family at Binscarth.
