The Hamiota District Health Centre Auxiliary held its February meeting with 11 districts represented. President Jean Fortune chaired. Reports noted admissions 52 occupancy 73.73 blood 4 units ambulance trips 5 Homecare 153 visits 49 clients by 13 workers totaling 169 hours. Meals: Mobile 377 to 20 clients in Hamiota, 13 to 1 in Miniota, 13 to 1 in Oak River. Office visits Hamiota 620 Kenton 25 Oak River 8 Miniota 28. A blood donor clinic had 39 new donors though 261 registered. Library books were deemed bulky and may be donated to the local library. Guild activities included Valentine’s tray favors and kidney foundation canvass. March birthday party hosted by the Guild. Regional Auxiliaries meeting April 4 at the EPH lounge with lunch. region includes Brandon, Rivers, Hamiota, Rossburn, Elkhorn, Virden. Kentones will provide entertainment. John Rankin to speak. Next meeting March 22 at 2:00 p.m. Volunteers urged to report hours.
