Strachan Foursome Captures Aggregate at Bonspiel
The Garth Strachan foursome won the Grand Aggregate at the 75th Annual Men’s Bonspiel in Hamiota after a 9-1 record, finishing first in Aggregate and third in one of the two open events. The event drew 51 rinks, with local teams taking four of six events and 14 of 24 prizes. Garth Strachan led the champion lineup with Nellie Woods, Bill Kerr, and Wilf Shayman.

They accepted tender for van driver Mary Gerelus for Route 50A and retroactive transportation pay to H Komhyr along with adjournment to March 12 1970 and progress payment No 7 for St Laz.
