Birdtail River Board Deliberates on New School Building
The Birdtail River School Division No. 38 board met February 24 1983 at Crandall to approve agendas review minutes and hear reports. They discussed establishing Miniota tennis courts. Roberta Hickman was granted maternity leave, W Sutcliffe resigned as bus driver, and a February 23 site visit by department staff prompted further meetings. A report on the school board and Public Schools Finance Board discusses building a new school versus an addition at Birtle citing safety space and resource concerns across multiple facilities.
