United Church Annual Meeting Heard in Hamiota
The United Church held its annual meeting in Hamiota on January 25 1988 at 730 pm with 46 members. Ken Smith chaired as Rev Jack Ballantine Dickson led scripture and prayers. A moment of silence honored deceased members and minutes from the previous meeting were adopted. The report was approved with corrections. New business covered subscriptions, the Learning on the Way program, and Ventures in Mission ending with a $7005.45 donation. The budget for 1988 was adopted and a slate of officers nominated. The meeting adjourned at 930 pm followed by tea and lunch. next meeting set for January 23 1989.
