Wedding Bells and Family Gatherings Across Prairie Town

Bruce Beasley of Tall Pine Sask spends holidays with relatives J Morison and Bert Dawson of Winnipeg join the Gray Fleming wedding on June nineteenth. A Norah Fleming shower on June fifteenth features corsages, a mock trousseau, and thanks from the bride elect, with local families and guests recalling visits and lunches.

Baby Band party hosted by Evening Auxiliary

The Evening Auxiliary sponsored the annual Baby Band party on Thursday June 17. About 40 mothers and 60 children gathered in the Church parlor. Baby Band leaders Mrs. P. Robinson and Mrs. G. Baxter welcomed attendees. The program featured action songs finger plays by preschoolers a Jimmie McConnell solo a vocal trio Kathy Rampling Elizabeth Crawford Dennis Robinson a playlet on missionary work and a short talk by Mrs. C. Bailey. Fourteen Promotion Cards admitted children to Mission Band. Guests of honor were Mrs. T. J Strachan and Mrs. J. D. Caldwell. Assistants included Explorer group and Evening Auxiliary members.
