New turf a hit at first golf tournament of the season
The Spring Golf Tournament in Minnesota May 28 29 drew 140 golfers to newly laid artificial turf greens and tees. Don Robertson of Elkhorn won the Men's Championship flight with Dale Orgreysic runner up and Barry Cornish third. multiple flights featured winners from Miniota Cromer Virden and other towns plus 45 participating ladies led by Sharon Hankin.
