Shower Held For Kenton Bride Elect Jackie McGregor

Jackie McGregor bride elect of June 7th was honored with a shower of gifts Friday May 30 in the lower hall of Kenton United Church attended by over 70 guests. She was escorted to her chair by Karen Butler as address was read with her mother Mrs Miles McGregor and groom elects mother Mrs Earl Johnston present. Pythian Sisters sponsored the event and lunch followed.

Nan Keeling RN director of nursing visited the Churchill Community Health Centre on Wednesday June 4 to study staffing patterns during a tour of Manitoba hospitals. On Thursday Ray Hopke community health worker in mental retardation met staff and explained his role. He is stationed at Russell and Hamiota.
