Five Year Wheat Pact Between Canada and Soviet Union

Energy Assistance Program Continues in Manitoba
Fitness Minister Bob Banman announced $100 000 in lottery revenues for the 1981 Energy Assistance Program. In 1979 the department created credits for recreation facilities financially hurt by Hydro billing changes from General Service Rate to Demand. First year 75 facilities received $5.25 to $6 365.49 each, based on the demand versus general service rate for November to October. Banman said the rate freeze and energy savings from conservation can ease facility costs.
