Lewiston Tribune columnist Bill Hall critiques Powers High School in Coquille Oregon where 18 year old Leslie Shorb was suspended twice for joining a shower with three senior boys. He questions the reasoning calling the punishment a bizarre object lesson in nudity and violence and notes the student lost valedictorian status and her graduation speech privilege. He argues violence is a harsher offense and urges more rational discipline.
