Hamiota Auxiliary Reports Strong Support and New Initiatives
The Hamiota District Health Centre Women's Auxiliary met May 27 with 16 districts represented. Activities included 27 client visits, 974 Hamiota office visits, 3 ambulance trips, a new 90 foot flag pole order, and the start of an Adult Day Care program with three weekly participants. The group opened with 253 attendees at the Florence Nightingale Tea, raised 964.33 from staff proceeds, and 449.25 plus 192.50 from teas and bake sales. A 20 inch TV was approved for the lounge. Taxi service shifts to Thursday mornings from June 28. The 1984 June Supper was invited.

McConnell Beef Club to Celebrate 50 Years
The McConnell Beef Club marks its 50th anniversary with a July 2 1983 celebration at McConnell.
