Antiques Drive Fundraiser For Hamiota Arts Centre
The Mid-West Arts Council seeks donations of antiques and collectibles for a giant auction on Monday Sept 2 to fund renovations of the old Royal Bank building in Hamiota into a living arts centre. Over 100 items have been donated including furniture radios crockery and old books. Lois Klassen says donors should not prize possessions but items of no value to them. A flea market will accompany the sale and pickups are arranged by calling the council at 764-2374.
