Clack Family Heritage Museum Foundation Honors Late Brothers Dream

Tim Clack, aided by brothers Doug and Fred, built a farm museum now run by a public board. Open daily 1 to 9 pm with free admission, the nine-building site on the Clack farm near Oak River preserves late 1800s artifacts from tractors to dishes. Tim donated land to the Manitoba Wildlife Federation Habitat Foundation, cairn dedication set for Aug. 22 at 2:00 p.m., with a public reception at the museum afterward. Call 328-5240 for details.

Former resident entertains at Burlington Beach

Sally Robinson and Jody Benjamin of the Toasted Westerns from Ottawa performed at Burlington Beach on July 10. The Winnipeg Folk Festival draws praise for their yodeling and multi instrument talents as they tour through Jasper Alberta Saskatoon and Regina with future encores planned.
