Hamiota Council Minutes Report January 8 1986
The Rural Municipality of Hamiota held its third regular meeting January 8 1986 with Reeve Knight and six councillors attending. Council approved minutes of December 11 1985, discussed correspondence from various agencies, adopted provisional operating expenses totaling 289100, gave third reading to By law 1/86, and scheduled the next meeting for February 12 1986 at 10 a.m.

Sympathy extended to Tim Thrale of Carstair AB on his sudden passing. Merry Makers met January 17 with 13 attendees. Isobel McTavish Mabel Westbrook visit from Winnipeg. Cardale Old Cougars won gold in Saskatoon age 45 plus hockey, defeating Regina Thistles 4 3 after round robin wins over Swift Current Saskatoon Yorkton. Harvey and Pearl English return from Calgary with new grandson Robert Harvey.
