Presbytial U C W Executive Meet in Newdale
The United Church Women of Birtle Presbyterial held their executive meeting at Newdale United Church on Tuesday January 20 led by Mrs J Rockley. Reports noted $11 800 50 sent to the Conference Treasurer, with a $202 50 short of the 1969 allocation, plus plans for nominations and fund drive. The meeting discussed overseas relief, fundraising, and a CLAW initiative to build relations with Indian reserves and alleviate poverty.
