Miniota council notes approve 1987 amendments and projects
The January 12 1987 Miniota Rural Municipality meeting approved December 1986 minutes and adopted late December special meetings. It reviewed correspondence, first readings for By-laws 1908 1911 and 1912, and kept Eva Kennedy's Darlingville history file. It approved a $90 448 22 Birdtail levy by January 31 1987, authorized attendance at a Red River College seminar, and allocated ambulance grants 50 25 25 to Hamiota Birtle and Virden. It appointed J W Milne to the Health Centre Board and Grant Hyndman as citizen representative for 1987 1988. It authorized a hazardous waste meeting attendance, and a dusk to dawn light at the municipal well. It called for a low level crossing on the Assiboine River with tender bids due February 20 1987. It approved cheques PR 2812 PR 2827 for 8928 54 and adjourned to February 10 1987.
