Get well wishes go to Mrs Gouldsborough in Hamiota Hospital. Visitors including the Kendals of Winnipeg visited last week. Frank and Joan Leary returned from Christmas in Calgary. Lampith of Carstairs, Alberta joined a group of dealers on an all expense paid Yamaha Japan trip spending time in Factory City and Tokyo. Congratulations to Garry and Sharon. Sympathy to William Watts family on his January 3 1983 passing in Dawson Creek aged 87.

Golden Age Group Meets at Miniota Center

The Golden Age group gathered at the Miniota Centre on Wednesday January 19 with a smaller attendance. Members introduced birthplaces and years and shared how long they’ve lived in Miniota. A centennial theme surfaced as Margaret Leary led a birthday tribute, and six tables played Whist.
