Nicaraguan Children’s Fund Raises Support in Winnipeg
Sel and Christine Burrows founded the Nicaraguan Children’s Fund to aid Nicaragua’s day care and nutrition centres. The all volunteer group has funded 14 centres in 1989 and aims to raise 25 000 dollars, which with CAIDA matching grants could total 100 000 dollars for childcare.
