Municipal Tax Sharing Funds To Reach 1981 Local Governments
Municipalities will receive about 25.1 million in 1981 under the Provincial Municipal Tax Sharing program. The payout rises 4 percent from 1980 and uses 2.2 points of personal income tax and one point of corporate tax. Base payment is 21 dollars per capita, with urban services supplements of 3.75 to 5.25 per capita by population, distributed July 1981.
