Manitoba agronomists add Linton wheat Peguis barley to 1976 crop list
December agronomists in Winnipeg approved Linton hard red spring wheat and Peguis six row barley for Manitoba 1976 recommended crops. Linton offers leaf rust resistance while Peguis provides high test weight and broad adaptation. Corn and legume updates were minor with new silage corn hybrids and a small list change in alfalfa.
