Munsch Mania comes to Hamiota in March 1992
Prairie Theatre Exchange stages six Robert Munsch stories adapted for the stage directed by Kim McCaw in Hamiota on Sunday March 22 1992. A youthful cast features Philippa Domville James Durham Arne MacPherson and Monique Marcker with music by John McCulloch and set by Rejean Labrie and Joan Murphy. Tickets $4 available at local merchants and the recreation office with showtime at 3 00 p.m. at Hamiota Collegiate.

The Hamiota Agricultural Society announces its centennial fair with a banquet and dance on March 28 1992 at the community hall featuring music by the Olsons of Wawota SK. A centennial plaque will be presented, life memberships awarded, guest speaker Morris Deveson and dignitary Glen Findlay expected, and a Regional Simmental Show will be held at the fair this summer. Submit historical photos to Norah Gray for display, with names and years. Lapel pins will be sold in spring and a centennial parade float is planned. A special events committee will organize further activities as date nears.
