Firemen's At Home A Great Community Event

A large crowd attended McCanstell's hall last Monday for the firemen's annual At Home. Mayor Whimster chaired, praising the fire brigade and band, with performances by Nellie Grist, the band quartet, and Bremner on violin. Wm Ferguson spoke on supporting the brigade as the Circassian Circle began the Folly evening dance, with refreshments after midnight and plans for an annual event.
