Tribute to Mrs Mable Stowe Moves to Hamiota
Al Armitage records the departure of the Parkissimo News contributor Mrs Mable Stowe as she moves to Hamiota on January 28. She moved to Parkissimo in 1979 and celebrated twelve birthdays there, missing her 100th due to an accident but later marking it in hospital on April 10 1992 with family. Her long service to residents and the Parkissimo column helped chronicle community life.
