Blanshard Council OKs road work and RCMP changes
The Rural Municipality of Blanshard held its January 15 1992 meeting in Oak River with all councillors present Reeve English chaired. It approved road projects including PR 354 to Norman Elevator and reinstatement of a bridge program, discussed RCMP detachment boundary changes favoring Minnedosa and later Hamiota service, and set provisional operating and capital estimates along with indemnities and travel pay. The session covered by law notes and staff training, plus adjourned after reconciliations and payments totaling over 46 000 dollars.
