Miniota Exits Weed Control District Amid Budget and By Law Actions
The R.M. of Miniota council met December 12 with delegations on water projects and weed control. Miniota will withdraw from the Weed Control District effective December 31, and By-law 27/94 approving tax and debt cancellations passed readings. Office closures, employee turkeys, travel approvals, a cemetery fund plan, a variation order hearing, and 1995 provisional operating and capital estimates were discussed. The old low bed trailer sale and a goose neck trailer purchase were also approved along with various payments.
