Fire Engulfs Home. Chimney Fault Suspected
Friday night fire in Hamiota struck a home owned by Bruce and Sandra Cowling. Fire Chief Ed Beamish said dense smoke and interior flames were evident, with extensive smoke and water damage. investigation traced the blaze to a faulty chimney as responders from Hamiota Volunteer Fire Department battled the blaze with multiple trucks.
