Health Centre Notes On Alcohol Effects On Driving
Studies show alcohol depresses the central nervous system and impairs quick information processing. It can cause stimulation in social settings, loss of inhibitions, talkativeness, and risky driving behavior. Even small doses impair perception and reaction, with many fatal accidents linked to drivers under the legal limit. The American Council of Alcohol Problems is cited.
