Two resignations were accepted and four hires approved including a .75 secretarial post and a .75 term teacher. Bylaws and funding topics were discussed and the next meeting set for December 10.

By-law 9/97 Sets Building Rules for Miniota RM
Council passed By-law 9/97 applying to the entire R M of Miniota regulating new and existing construction. It requires Building Occupancy Plumbing Sign and Demolition permits from the RM office in Minsota. A building inspector will ensure compliance with the Manitoba Building Code starting January 1 1998 to reduce liability. Copies of the By-law are available at the municipal office during regular hours.
