Century Farm Reunion and Drummond Family Celebration
The Dodds Drummond and Fordyce families held an August 2 1981 celebration at the R L Dodds home to mark Mathew Drummond’s pioneer era and the century farm legacy. A cairn with stones from historic sites, a stainless time capsule, and a bronze plaque honored the Mathew Drummond family as about 150 relatives gathered, heard remarks from officials, and enjoyed a luncheon, pictures, and a multi-generational tribute.
