Hamiota Fair Results 1976 Show Draws Spectators
Cold wind did not dampen crowds at the Hamiota fair with gate receipts up $100 from last year. Buck Mathison reported strong participation in Men's Fastball and the evening game, while junior and school entries declined. Winners across many classes included Marilyn Treloar Rivers and Eleanor Thompson McConnell in IGA Special points, Leslie Tutkaluke and Larry Houck in Boy's Hobby Craft, and multiple floral and cooking prizes with Mrs. Sinkbeil Kemnay earning top house plants, along with numerous special awards and a large gymkhana in the evening.
