Community Places Grant Funds Hamiota rink improvements
The Hamiota and District Sports Complex board discussed Manitoba Community Places funding at its Aug 6 meeting. The 50/50 grant of 7000 will fund south wall insulation and ten feet of tin, plus four inches of concrete on the walkway. A Alarmall quote was approved for a high temperature sensor in the kitchen cooler and freezer. The board debated charitable regulations and GST, noting possible deregulation. The next annual meeting is set for April 17.
