Mundell family reunion and a tale of a forgotten scrapbook
The item recalls Charlie and Eva Mundell of Hamiota and Oak River hosting kin during a family visit by Jim and Donna Johnson and son Andy from Owego New York. Donna, Eva’s cousin, builds a family tree and has traced relatives across Rothsay and Minnesota to Regina, Calgary, and other towns. The piece shifts to a scrapbook era from 1977 to 1980, noting awards, curling champions, travels, anniversaries, and local civic events, concluding with a reflective thought for the week.
