Wedding Shower for Maureen Godlen at Scotia Church
A miscellaneous shower was held Friday night in the basement of Scotia Church for Maureen Godlen the bride elect of August 11. Gifts were given by Ian Anderson dressed as a carpenter and Vicki Cummings a school teacher. Maureen offered sincere thanks for the gifts and entertainment and lunch followed served by the West Group ladies.
Community gathers to honor Keith Bridge wedding
The community hosts a celebration at Mr. and Mrs. Johns home honoring Keith Bridge and his bride with an address by Arthur Knight. A hostess chair and a sock are presented, followed by social hour and a generous lunch. Various local residents and visitors from Winnipeg and Banff are noted in attending or visiting.
