New 10 Million Grain Facility By United Grain Growers
United Grain Growers will build a 10 million dollar high throughput grain facility in Shoal Lake. The project in the industrial park south of S.H. Dayton Ltd. starts this fall and aims to be operational by spring 2000. The complex features a 131 ft slipform wall, 215 ft elevator, 40 bins, 72 car storage, automated controls, and extensive grain handling, drying, and blending capacities.
