A cluttered ad lists discounted items from clothing to home goods. Offers include shirts 35¢ a pair, overalls 38¢, shoes at cut prices, dresses, yardage for fabric, and numerous household items. Special prices for Friday and Saturday with a bonus gift with 25¢ purchase.
An auction of house furnishings is planned in the rear of the Royal Primacy on Second Street east of Courthouse. Items include three piece suites, upholstery, leather and tapestry pieces, brass beds, rockers, chairs, tables, dressers, carpets, lace curtains, portieres, and other furniture. Auctions run Saturday morning and two subsequent mornings with daily inspections and repair services noted. Store location listed as 239 High Street.
