Two-Fined For Coal Theft In Oxford
Oxford, Sept. 15. William Seager of Wallimers and Ohio railroad detective arrested Virgil Hurley and Harley Browning for stealing coal from the railroad. They pleaded guilty before Squire Dames, each fined $10 and costs and given thirty days in jail. Coal theft was traced by Detective Sawyer who observed the westbound freight train, noting nearly a ton was unloaded.
