Leonard Davis was arraigned in Squire ndardauder's court on a charge of shooting Mrs. George Leppich with intent to kill. He pled not guilty, waived an information, and was bound over to the grand jury with a $1,000 bond he could not post. Davis remains jailed as Mrs. Leppich’s condition improves at Mercy hospital in Hamilton. she is expected to return home soon.

Bright West, charged in juvenile court with failure to support seven children, was sentenced by Judge Jurge Caniaushtan to pay $9 and 60 days in the Cincinnati workhouse. Evidence showed little child support and West admitted a recent marriage under the name John Pollitt. his son Jesse West faced a similar arrest as the case was continued for health-related claims.
