Meyers pleads guilty in mail fraud case in Cincinnati
Fred Meyers alias George Inpont alias Rinehart, indicted in Cincinnati federal court for a mail fraud scheme against Tony Pole of Hamilton, changed plea to guilty before Judge Hul et and Judge O Connell. He received one year and one day in a West Virginia penitentiary. He claimed another man duped Pole and asked for leniency due to his recent marriage. Meyers allegedly posed as a bondsman and swapped envelopes to steal Pole’s savings sent to Chicago.
