Oxford William Craig Passes Away In Oxford Village
William Craig a respected Oxford citizen died at his North Main Street home after months of illness. Born September 7 1874 he lived in the village most of his life and served on the village council, currently in his third term and as president this year. Survived by his widow Jesgia Veacen Craig three daughters Mildred Sneed Thelms Newton and Jessie Bose Craig and brother Harry J. Craig. Funeral Saturday at 4 pm from the United Presbyterian church with Knights of Pythias services at 8 pm and burial in Oakfold cemetery. Friends may call tonight.
