Chief signal engineer E. T. Ambush of the Cincinnati based C H D says wiring for the train dispatch telephones is almost finished between Hamilton and Indianapolis. A crew of nineteen is at work in the city with five more following to install office phones. Three circuits are planned: Hamilton to Indianapolis, Cincinnati to Dayton, and Dayton to Toledo. Distances are 100 miles for the first, 60 for the second, and 142 for the third. Installation on the second and third circuits has not begun.

Thousands of dollars are sought in the United States district court in Cleveland by International Metal Products of Middletown Ohio and a New Jersey concern against United States Steel Company of Canton. The suit alleges patent infringement for a milking iron in an open hearth furnace and for protecting ingots forged in that furnace. An injunction and accounting are requested. In Isapeas on Nov 25 two of three men charged with complicity in the tar incident against Mrs Mary Chamberlain a school teacher were found guilty of assault and battery by a jury in Judge Grover's court.
