Ministers Meet To Plan Sermon Texts For Next Year

Local ministers from Cincinnati Lutheran and Evangelical churches gathered at Rev. G. Serhold’s home to select texts for next year’s sermons. About twenty ministers attended as Trinity Auxiliary held an all day sewing event at the parish house. St Paul’s Brotherhood and St John’s German Evangelical Protestant church discussed convention plans for area men’s societies and held a regular meeting with new members and a date change to the third Tuesday. The census committee of St John’s will meet Sunday at 2 pm. A Bible Reading circle at St John’s Hast Hamilton hosted a successful box social and Paul’s Aid Society hosted coffee in the church divine hall yesterday afternoon.
