Oxford reports a measles outbreak at Misch university with several exposed students after a March event in Herron gym. President Aghes urged caution as nine days pass since exposure before symptoms may appear, advising exposed individuals to stay home if symptoms develop.
Oxford business notices list a sale, rewards for lost pocketbook items, and immediate delivery offers from Oxford Motor Co and new and used Ford vehicles. Funeral services were held at the United Presbyterian church for Miss Alive Wilson with burial in Camden. She was sister to Mrs. J J Faris and lifelong Morning Sun resident. A car incident linked her death with Mrs Ella Rawsey of Richmond and Mrs Faris, all longtime friends. Mrs Faris and Mrs Farisey were born on the same day and died in the same week.
Engeny Baxter, head gardener at Western College for Women, prepares a system to cover about 250 feet of overhead sprinklers. The project will irrigate a plot roughly 124 by 40 feet to ensure moisture, with ground set aside for small maintenance vehicles early season and celery later.

Dickerson were appointed as special assistants to the attorney general to represent the government in appeals for George Remus of Cincinnati and others including Michael Hilsinger and Cecil Kerns. The cases arise from convictions on charges of conspiring to violate the Volstead Act, prosecuted in the Federal District Court during Captain Morrow's administration.
A speeding driver struck a boy at Gest street and McTown avenue last night near 6 oclock. The boy died within an hour at General hospital from a fractured skull jaw and internal injuries. The driver fled the scene as pedestrians watched the crash.

In Cleveland on March 27, the Newberg and South Shore Railway and the Lake Terminal Company paid fines of 25000 dollars each and costs after confessing to 1923 fuel priority violations of the Interstate Commerce Commission.

He says politics offer little return once campaign costs are paid and he will resume his law practice in Granita Falla. A boy named Sins, four, died after drowning in a sewer trench March 27.
