Ames Crowthers of Columbia Pa reports his wife suffered kidney trouble but Dr Kilmer Swamp Root eased symptoms after several bottles. He claims long prior doctors offered nothing and credits the tonic with substantial relief and eventual cure. Henry B Urner, a notary public, attested to the testimony.
Letter to Dr Kilmer Co Binghamton NY offers a sample bottle and booklet of information claiming to explain the medicine idea sequence. Mentions regular fifty cent and medium bottles for sale at all drug stores and Hamilton Daily journal.
Police arrested three men after a Thursday night shooting near Main Street. Officer Muber detained Kramer and companions at the residences of OL Lindley and later at the police station. Kramer was held for firearm charges while others were released for being drunk to stand.
The trial of Albert E. Foster, a former Hamilton music teacher, proceeded with a jury considering whether he obtained property from Dr. Pru Jane Fennenan by false pretenses over a Warren County farm sale. Witness Margaret Mosler testified clearly while Foster’s credibility weakened. two hours of closing arguments followed as Judge Harlan instructed the jury on presumption, burden of proof, and the need for conclusive evidence beyond a reasonable doubt.

Also news of arrests for insulting housewives and two hobos. Bast Hamilton Improvement Society cancels March 27 meeting due to weeks remaining before March events.
The county board of commissioners announced the abolition of two offices today. The decision ends the roles of the blind commissioner and another titled official, with the board granting only limited authority under the new plan.
W Herschel Phatt, an porter at Buse & Selutster's in the St Charles hotel, is jailed after a marked ten dollar bill vanished from a drawer. He allegedly obtained the key to the cash drawer and was arrested as the bill reappeared. A mayoral hearing may remand him to juvenile court due to his age of 18.
