Six year old Hilda Gardner daughter of Joby J. Gardner on the Darrtown pike was badly cut when she followed a mower as horses stopped and backed. Her feet were caught in the knives with the left nearly severed and the right through the bones. she was taken to Mercy hospital with surgeons possible to save her feet.
