TWO PICNICS AT FAIR GROUNDS WITH CHURCH GROUPS

Two church groups held annual picnics at the fair grounds the Sunday school children of St. John’s German Evangelical Protestant and St. Mary’s Catholic parish. A boys game ended 18 to 0 for St. Mary’s after the two groups shared the same day due to date confusion. Additional events included other games and a picnic dinner. The Brotherhood of St John’s plans a large congregational outing in Freemont’s grave July 4. Harry Thompson and Miss Gertrude Alsheimer celebrate birthdays with a city employees outing at Reserve Hall.

Members of the Ladies' Social Circle of First Reformed church hosted Mrs. Henry Neyin Kerst for a social afternoon. A new committee roster and plans for a lawn fete on the 27th were adopted, with Mrs. Clayton A cretin and Mrs Elmer Watson among the organizers. the affair to be at Mrs. Watson’s Park Avenue home. Finney and will stay with Rev. Glenn Finney. A court hearing date was set by Judge Connaughton for Mrs. Camm against Belle Bryant over funds from the Nathan Bryant estate. Sales of bulbs to customers were announced.
