Following the state convention of mail carriers in Middletown a group of prominent AFA members, including Hamilton delegate Penny G Rylgelt, viewed the city’s postflood reconstruction from the Rentseller Building roof. The visit featured praise for debris removal and rapid recovery, with leaders from Brooklyn, Cincinnati, Pittsburg, Cleveland, Norwalk and other cities present.

Jioberl Scott of Middletown reported to Cincinnati police that a man suspected of taking money grabbed his pocket at Sixth and Sycamore streets where he was staying for a few days. Police are pursuing the reported suspect in the incident.
Edmond Perryon, the French aviator, piloted an aircraft carrying a passenger to a world high altitude of 31.10 miles, Tuesday. The daring ascent marked a record for flight height achieved by the pair in the aeroplane.
