Copper theft at Proater & Gamble plant leads to manhunt

A large quantity of copper, mostly recovered, was stolen from the Proater & Gamble plant early yesterday. Thieves entered by forcing a window and fled when confronted by the night watchman. Police searched the area and recovered much of the loot near the Big Four railroad crossing.
