One Hit Two Escape Near Sixth Street Collision
Crossing Sycamore street near Sixth street at 9 40 Monday night two boys escaped serious harm when an automobile nearly struck them. Russell Asher five was knocked down and slightly injured. George Rowett driver of the car claimed the youth stepped from behind a parked auto into his path but he could not avoid the collision. Asher treated at Mercy hospital for scratches and facial injuries as a number of others in the Rowett party, including Virginia Bibel Lillian Bibel Eva Reiner Floyd and Agnes Rowett, were riding in the car at the time of the accident.
